Oregon & Utah Combined Concealed Handgun License Course (Limit 30 people)

This instructor-led classroom course provides the official training required to apply for both your Oregon Concealed Handgun License (CHL) and Utah Concealed Firearm Permit (CFP).

The course meets ORS 166.291 and Utah BCI education standards and focuses on legal knowledge, firearms safety, responsible carry, and real-world decision making not just checking a box for a certificate.

COURSE FORMAT

• 4–5 hour classroom course

• No live fire

• No firearms or ammunition permitted

TOPICS INCLUDE

• Oregon & Utah concealed carry laws

• Use-of-force & self-defense principles

• Firearms safety & handgun fundamentals

• Concealed carry methods & holster selection

• Situational awareness & personal safety

• Interacting with law enforcement

• Legal aftermath of defensive encounters

WHAT YOU RECEIVE

• Oregon CHL / Utah CFP training certificate

• Permit application guidance

• Utah paperwork assistance (when applicable)

IMPORTANT

• Must be 21+ and legally eligible to possess firearms

• Certificate satisfies training requirement only

• Students must apply through their county Sheriff and Utah BCI

This class open to Members and Non-member of the Stayton Moose Lodge.
